Life Guard Ecumenical Foundation (LFGE), a 501(c3) non-profit organization founded in 2009 by a group of neighbors in Fair Have NJ, organizes the annual 5k race
that benefits their fellow neighbors in need of assistance. Each month LGEF finds a local family in need.
This year’s Life Guard 5k surpassed the fundraising goal of $20,00. The 2019 race features the fastest time in the Lifeguard 5k history with a 17:53 finish by Thomas Shore. The Female group was led by Megan Elgrim 24:17. The under 14 winners were Jack Slavin, 35:44 and Ava Amabile, 55:22).
