Professional Technology Services Firm Debuts Technology Center of Excellence for Product Demonstrations, Training and Regional Workforce Development Initiatives
ALBANY, N.Y. – February 5, 2020 – Aspire Technology Partners (www.AspireTransforms.com), a professional technology solutions and services company specializing in the delivery of digital infrastructure solutions and managed services, is partnering with Capital Region BOCES to launch a new Internet of Things (IoT) Technology Demonstration Center located at the Capital South Campus Center (CSCC), 20 Warren Street, Albany, NY 12202 where it will offer educational, informational and hands-on demonstrations for showcasing infrastructure technology that aids in areas such as Smart Cities, Connected Vehicles & Roadway Safety, Smart & Secure Campuses, Utilities and Energy Efficiency, Smart Buildings, and Cyber Security. The campus center is a staple in the community providing residents with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency. The new Aspire Albany IoT Technology Demonstration Center is an expansion of the successful Aspire IoT Demo Center in Eatontown, N.J. Both centers provide working examples of the latest technologies available for implementing automated, intelligent and highly secure networks and mobility solutions to ensure reliable communications and easy access to key business applications.
Training & Workforce Development
The Aspire Albany IoT Technology Demonstration Center has been developed with Aspire’s partners at Capital Region BOCES to provide training and workforce development capabilities for the regional adult workforce looking for hands-on training to update employable skills. Aspire plans to offer a variety of training tracks for continuing education and workforce development efforts in collaboration with Capital Region BOCES.
Once trained, students could enter either private sector employment, for example, the organizations that deploy IoT solutions, or public sector employment, for example, the municipalities that own and operate these IoT solutions for community and constituent utility and safety.
