Aspire Managed Security Services is SOC 2 Certified
Aspire Technology Partners successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 compliance certification. SOC 2 (Systems and Organizational Controls) Compliance is part of the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) Service Organization Control reporting platform. Technology companies that handle or store customer data ensure the integrity of their data systems through successful completion of the SOC 2 audit.
This certification demonstrates that Aspire adheres to higher industry standards with one or more of the five trust principles set forth by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). The five trust principles are:
- Security
- Availability
- Processing Integrity
- Confidentiality
- Privacy
A-LIGN, an independent, third-party auditing firm, verified the process and controls supporting Aspire Managed Services met the Trust Services Criteria for security and availability. As part of the SOC 2 Type 2 certification, A-LIGN tested both the design and operational effectiveness of Aspire’s controls and processes. This certification solidifies the company’s resolve to provide our managed services customers with industry-leading controls and processes to protect the security and availability of their critical business assets.
The SOC 2 certification is an extremely demanding undertaking. It represents a strong validation to the market that Aspire Managed Services are built upon and delivered leveraging industry best practices for security.
The SOC 2 reports are intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that require detailed information and assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses for processing users’ data, along with the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems.
These reports can play an important role in:
- Oversight of the organization
